Honestly, my internship has been pretty different from my expectations. Before the internship, I was so curious and excited about to know about what a pharmacist's job like and I thought it would be challengeable and fun. Things a little bit out of my thoughts, but I did really appreciate for the harmony-working atmosphere. Compared IHSL's school environment to my workplace environment, there are both commons and differences. The similar is in both sides were doing group works; we all cooperate to finish tasks. But the difference is my co-workers are more responsible and active, unlike our classmates, they are always stick in their positions and help each other. I think the new skills I have learned that I can apply at other jobs are communication, punctual and follow striations. As I said, I'm working in a harmony atmosphere; I have a very ease and good relationship with my mentor and co-workers. In this not so long intern period, I have been inspired by their working ethics and I'm being more confident and responsible as the result of interacting with professional adults.

Although I do not know is my English improved since the internship, but I have learned communication is so important when we interact with the others. These days, there are a lot going on in the hospital, because the hospital is facing close. There are many layoffs, and everything is a little chaotic. And all the workers are in panic; they were upset about the forcing close. As a member of them, even it doesn't affect me personally, but I also feel sorry about that, and the intense atmosphere makes me feel scary. I think that's the biggest challenge I face in my entire internship, because I’m experiencing how life could change without notice, in this case, I understand how real life it is.

My two goals I hope to accomplish during the remaining weeks are to ask more questions and improve my English. And new thing I learn about NYC is the rushing hours is really horrible.
